Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Welcome to Average AF — the Working On Wellness community. Average AF is operated by Average AF Pty Ltd (Australia). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Fair play: submit real scores. Mates can verify scores, and dodgy entries can be removed by organisers.
2. WOW Factor points have no cash value. They can be earned, gifted to other members (PIF) and redeemed for partner rewards while stocks last. Points are never staked, wagered or transferred as a result of winning or losing a challenge.
3. Community invite codes and links are for personal use — be a legend, not a spammer.
4. Organisers may create, edit or end challenges and communities to keep comps fair.
5. Be respectful. Abusive behaviour can lead to account suspension.
6. Who can use Average AF: you need to be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission if you're under 16. One account per person. Use real details when you sign up.
7. Your account is yours to look after. Keep your login private, and let us know straight away if you think someone else is using it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
8. Average AF is not health or medical advice. Scores, challenges, rankings and content in the app are for general wellbeing and motivation only. They are not a diagnosis, treatment plan or professional advice. Talk to your doctor before starting or changing any exercise or wellbeing program, especially if you have an existing condition, an injury, or you're pregnant.
9. You take part at your own risk. Physical activity carries risk of injury. You decide what you're fit to do, and you stop if something doesn't feel right. Average AF Pty Ltd is not responsible for injury, illness or loss arising from activities you choose to do.
10. Real-world meet-ups are between members. Communities, challenges and sporting outings organised through the app are run by members and organisers, not by us. We don't supervise, insure or vet them, and we're not responsible for what happens at them. Use common sense when meeting people you've met online.
11. Content you post stays yours. By posting scores, photos, comments or other content, you give us permission to store and display it inside the app and its leaderboards and communities, so the app can do its job. You confirm you have the right to post it — including permission from anyone else in a photo.
12. What you can't do: falsify scores, use bots, scripts or automation, create fake or multiple accounts, impersonate anyone, scrape or copy other members' data, post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, or that infringes someone else's rights, or share another member's personal information without their say-so.
13. More on WOW Factor points: points can't be bought, sold, transferred outside the app's own Pay It Forward gift feature, or exchanged for cash. Nothing in the app is gambling — you never pay to enter anything, you never stake anything, and you can never lose points by losing a challenge. We can adjust, freeze or void points obtained through cheating, error or a technical fault. Points may expire if your account is inactive or closed.
14. WASSUP challenges and Dominator Badges: a WASSUP challenge is a one-on-one contest with another member on a single game over a 72-hour window. You nominate the game, both of you post a fresh verified score inside the window, and the higher score wins. Nothing is staked. The loser forfeits nothing except their run.
15. The Dominator ladder: each win is a Dominator Badge. Consecutive wins build a run. At five wins in a row your run is worth an Average AF hat; at ten, a hat and a shirt; at fifteen, a hat, shirt and bag. At five and at ten you choose whether to take the reward or keep going. A reward is only yours once you choose to stop — if you keep going and then lose, the run resets to zero and nothing is awarded. You are never given an item and then asked to risk it.
16. Fair matchmaking: within each block of five wins, every opponent must be a different member, and at most one may be chosen by you — the rest are assigned. Challenges you don't play, or where neither player posts a score, are void and don't count either way. If you accept a challenge and then don't play, you may forfeit it, and repeatedly doing so may stop you accepting new challenges for a while.
17. Verifying your scores: scores must be verified by a playing partner or venue within the app's verification window. Some games require a video to claim a trick shot or bonus. Badge-tier wins — your 5th, 10th and 15th — require video evidence or verification by a registered Verifier. Unverified scores don't count.
18. Community competitions: your community may take part in a Banter Board Challenge against another business, gym or club. Those competitions are governed by separate terms agreed between us and the organising business. You pay nothing to take part, and your individual scores, points and Dominator runs are unaffected by how your community performs.
19. Merchandise: where you win merchandise we'll ask for a size and a delivery address so we can send it. If you're under 18, we need a parent or guardian's consent before we send anything. Merchandise is awarded at our discretion and can't be exchanged for cash.
20. Partner rewards: rewards are supplied by third-party partners, subject to availability and to that partner's own terms. Your dealings with a partner are between you and them. We can change or withdraw a reward at any time.
21. The app is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free or that data will never be lost. We may add, change, or remove features, or discontinue the app, at any time.
22. Suspension and closure: we can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts other members at risk. You can close your account at any time by contacting us — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
23. Liability: nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded. Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, Average AF Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to resupplying the service or AUD $100, whichever is greater.
24. Changes to these terms: we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Average AF after a change means you accept the updated terms.
25. App stores: Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app or for support. Apple Inc. is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. Your use must also comply with the applicable App Store terms of service.
26. Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the jurisdiction of its courts.
27. Contact: questions, complaints or account requests — [insert support email] or via the contact page at [insert website].
